The media was called by the Needhams immediately after I went to Canada. There was literally no delay and noattempts to deal with this privately. From there, an explosion of coverage hit networks and print outlets around the world. My privacy and that of my children's was gone forever.

I hate to think about what the children will feel when they read details of my pregnancy and this ordeal that should not have been disclosed.

The grief of knowing they were unnecessarily
kept from loving and competent mother is an emotional burden that is being imposed on them. Hopefully, a resolution to this ordeal will come soon and I can shield my children from further damage.


If they return home to me, there will be little reason to research the events of these years, If not, they will suffer the emotional burden of being separated from their mother at an early age.

My request is and will be that the records be unsealed so that the public will know the truth. Then the media will have the facts to accurately report this story.
